BIOGRAPHY

Yichen was born in 2000 in China and moved to Toronto at 16. He went to OCAD University in Toronto, ON, for four years to study illustration. Yichen was doing a lot of concept painting for character design. As a freelance Illustrator, Yichen focuses on drawing game posters, trading card games, figures, board games, and independent games. Yichen is a concept artist who specializes in characters, creatures, and mecha. Yichen prefers to experience an overall atmosphere through the use of contrasting light and dark, rendering, and color palettes.
